Never had a cronut until my visit to this bakery and now I cant imagine a life without them. Flavor of the month was blueberry and earl grey and boy did it deliver. The DKAs are also a treat not to be missed. DELICIOUS!
A friend recommended it and said my trip wouldnt be complete without a visit here and so we popped in sometime around 4. The place was bursting and the line to order was so long! But so worth the wait! Everything was not only gorgeous but eating desserts here is such a sensory experience. Apart from the visual treat, you must make sure you go with a bunch of people so you get to try a little bit of everything
Its a nicely decorated cafe indeed and is almost always extremely packed. I got the frozen Smore (831) to share with my Friend. Its essentially marshmallow surrounding Tahitian vanilla ice cream which is dotted with chocolate flakes. Was way too sweet for me and my friend. She took a bite and declared the rest was for me. Even though the size was small, the sweetness was too much to handle for me and I had to throw a bit of it away.Tip: make sure youve at least 2 people with you to order this! Or else you can always order their other pastries!
Had heard about this place and about their world famous Cronuts (croissant+donuts). Also heard they have created this fusion. We had to go early morning to queue up so that we get our hands on freshly baked #cronuts, it was worth going their. The Cronuts were amazing. Also tried their Blooming Hot Chocolate – Yumm. Definitely must visit place.
We went there to try the cronuts because its been talked about so much. I like the idea – a donut + croissant, and it delivers on the taste and textures. They have a flavour of the month and in October that flavour was Raspberry cream cheese ganache with a pistachio crumb. It was nice but I wouldve preferred to try a plain one which they dont have. When they have flavour of the month, they only sell that flavour and no other flavour and not even a plain one. Nevertheless this bakery has a lot of other options to satisfy all kinds of sweet tooth cravings.
