Terrific little restaurant. French with a bit of soho thrown in. Starter of frois gras excellent but wanted more. Superstar main course of halibut and risotto. Creme brle was superb. Wine list fabulous. Service was really good. Great ambience in the room. 100% return every time Im in NYC.

Service is horrible here. Upset that they ran out of steak tartare very small portions too. But the food is to die for !!! All the flavours go well together, and I would come again because of my love for the food. ! Seating is very limited, so reservations are best !

Nice food, busy and festive atmosphere. Raoul’s restaurant in SoHo is a small place with a festive atmosphere and busy bar. The service was excellent, the restaurant was packed, and the bar was very busy. It was cheerfully loud and the food just lovely. We had a wonderful time. If you are looking for good food and a fun atmosphere this is a great place to go. If you are looking for a calmer, quieter dinner you should probably go elsewhere.

Raoul’s Still the Standard. Went to Raoul’s for what may be the 50th time over the last 15 years, and it reminded all of us why it’s still thriving. Bistro food well executed across appetizer and entrees and desserts, with signature steak au poivre remaining flawless. Staff is same as always; maitre d’ Eddie H. is an absolute gentleman, girls at front perfect, and waiters a bit ‘minimalist’ in terms of TLC, but totally on top of things. Clientele and ambience are exactly what you expect and want in SoHo (beautiful people and crowded, but in a good way). There is a reason this place has remained a fixture in what is probably the most competitive restaurant market in the world. Only gripe would be the wine list, which I’ve never loved. Reasonably priced, and interesting/unusual French selections, but I think it should be larger and more diverse.

Agradabilssimo. Local pequeno, super aconchegante. Msica alta, mas contagiante. Garons educadssimos. Comida tima. Em especial o Peixe com shitake e manteiga trufada. Imperdvel. Quando chega o prato, assusta pois a poro pequena, mas logo depois te desperta varias sensaes deliciosas.nao precisa ser maior.

Not to be missed. Consistently wonderful.. Casual, elegant, and consistently delicious, I never miss Raoul’s when I come to town. There’s no more comfortable, welcoming place in New York. After all these years, they still maintain their high standards (not just in terms of the high quality of their ingredients, but also service staff from bartenders to waiters to bus boys).A classic.

Still terrific after all these years. Hadn’t been to Raoul’s in years, then the NYT gave it a nice write up last week, and we went back.Same maitre de, sommelier and French waiters.Food even better than I remember.Fantastic frisee lardons salade, and tuna w/ anchovy vinaigrette was fresh and lovely. Great poulet over potatoes with a poached egg. Comforting.Great tarte tatin for 2, and I can’t wait to go back again.Very authentic French bistro food on a chalkboard menu.I like when things stay the same, especially when they were so good to begin with!
