My friend’s husband from college met up with us and brought us here for lunch to try some pizza. Waited in line for about 15 minutes outside but, I did not mind as the view outside was spectacular. Although the lady who welcomes their customers assumed we speak Spanish, which was hilarious by the way (not the first time they did this to us), she was bubbly and apologetic for the wait time. We were able to try their Sicilian pizza and I loved it, as it is difficult to find a good pizza place here in Sydney. The only thing I wish they would change is the cash only basis for payment. It was a bit cramped where we were seated. But since staff were prompt and attentive to serve, I did not mind their cramped interiors.
Good pizza. Not my favorite. I did like that they put fresh basil on all their pizzas. And they were very generous with there pepperoni. The view of Brooklyn bridge is awesome. So I would say it’s like a generous beautiful lover.
After walking over Brooklyn bridge, I was hungry and I went to this place with my friend. We ordered calzone, pizza (veg) and my friends ordered chicken wrap. The food taste is great. The quantity was good enough.They forgot to add avocado topping in my pizza and they realized it as soon as the pizza came to my desk and gave me avocado in a plate. It is a little expensive compared to others.Surely recommended to everyone
Love Ignazio’s!. We are from Mississippi and after moving to the Northeast, are enjoying trying new places; Iganzio’s proved to be a FIND! We go into the city every month or so – we will not miss any opportunities on our visits to stop in at Ignazio’s – yes, it’s that good. The food is delicious, the owner is terrific, the place is awesome – WHAT A VIEW! Do yourself a favor and try it, you will not regret it.
This place is a gem. The staff is nice and professional, as is the owner. The pizza is excellent. Quite frankly, if Grimaldi’s was giving pizza away without a line, I might still choose Ignazio’s.
Leaves a Lot to Be Desired. Nice staff, but weird! The sole purpose for this pizzeria seems to be Grimaldi’s overflow. VERY NOISY and stuffed with toddlers. Even our 6 yr. old commented that there were too many noisy babies around! The pizza is nothing to write home about — it’s cooked in regular pizza ovens. The place isn’t very attractive or clean, and it’s not cheap either. They’re cash only too, so beware. Yes, it’s a convenient location. Disappointed that my pizza with shrimp had breaded, fried shrimp on it. Yick!
Under Brooklyn Bridge with a view of Manhattan skyline…pleasant atmosphere, quick service with a smile, Pizza devoured, & all in this family of four happy with our late lunch 🙂
