Very nice nouveau Korean cuisine. Some traditional fare with a modern and elegant presentation (most Korean restaurants don’t bother with presentation); other dishes appeared completely new to me. Tried the Ginger Kamikaze that others have raved about. Very nice! Like ginger beer but more refined. The sea bass appetizer was excellent. The complimentary cold coffee mochi was delicious!
Wow. I love all kind of asian foods and have been to all of the best in the city..and Kori ranks up there with the best. Attentive service, amazing food and chic ambience. I had SSAM (vegetable leaf wrap) w/ blueberry kalbi: It was very delightful & stunningly fresh. The portion was really generous so I shared it with a friend who had scallion pancake. I loved the open kitchen and the lighting was warm and friendly yet the restaurant still has that hot NY hang out feel to it. Truly a hidden gem of TriBeCa!
