The lack of comments on this page don’t quite tell the whole story. Since Jose told his lovely story, things have obviously changed. My group of girls was ignored by the bartender for at least 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks or dinner. The ponytailed bartender was clearly too concerned with Tindering or whatever on his phone to even notice us.Once we got some drinks we ordered some tapas, squid and garlic shrimp. What a mistake. The shrimp was definitely frozen, and the squid may have been, it was too awful to tell. After we asked the bartender to close out our tab (our waiter had disappeared), a sleazy guy saying he was owner asked if ‘you beautiful ladies’ wanted a free round of drinks, as he winked at the bartender. Needless to say, we had to turn him down, he seemed half in the bag.Awful experience, will never go back, and I recommend no one else makes the mistake of ever walking in to begin with.
This place rocks for Latin music. I came here the other day through my friend and I have to admit the place was rocking with the Latin music after 11pm. This is spanish tapas bar which serves small typical spanish tapas dishes. There is a full bar available. The place is small and cozy as well a little on the dark side. Kana comes alive after 11pm when they remove the tables and the party starts. The deejay plays a mix of spanish rock, pop, salsa, brazilian, arabic and is just so original. We came on a Friday and we had a blast. We will definately will be going back to Kana.
